1924 Conn New Wonder I alto saxophone, s/n 138646. This horn was made in the last year of production of this model, and shares some features of the New Wonder II including a nail file G# key. This sax is gold plated with elaborate engraving. The sax currently plays great on a set of pads that still has a lot of life left in them. It has a huge, clear, sweet tone and plays easily in all registers. The neck microtuner moves freely.
