The Evans Heavyweight Dry snare head is engineered to meet the demands of five-alarm touring drummers in the heat of battle. This head's 2-ply, 20-mil construction supplies maximum punch in the studio and added durability on the tour circuit. On the underside of the head is a 3-mil reverse dot to help focus attack for fatter backbeats and fuller rimshots. A series of vents along the outer edge dries out unwanted overring to fast track a record-ready sound. The Heavyweight Dry also features Evans' UV curing to extend the life of the head coating.
