Thin Nitrocellulose Lacquer Finish Application for Freestone Guitar and Bass Necks In this process we apply 3 thin coats of nitrocellulose lacquer. Then end result is a smooth satin feel. This is a suitable finish for all wood types. This process does NOT include grain filling so porous woods will have an "open grain" finish. Fretboard Treatment:-We apply a hydrating oil to exotic wood fretboards.-We apply nitrocellulose lacquer to Maple fretboards. PLEASE NOTE:This service is meant to be purchased along with a guitar or bass neck. Please include the order number for the neck that you purchased and would like to have finished.
