Unlike distortion with a strong sense of compression, the Budi-G does not have much distortion at first listen, but when pushed through a tube amp or stacked with other drive pedals, the presence of this subtle distortion gives a very natural boost sound. It also has high headroom and plenty of room, making it ideal for pushing an amp or drive pedal that is already distorted to some degree. Furthermore, the 2-band EQ (bass & treble) and SAT (saturation) trimmer allow for a wide range of tone adjustment to suit your equipment.
