A “Mehfil” is an intimate, traditional gathering designed to showcase and appreciate the art of music & poetry. Originating from Persian culture & widely adopted in South Asia, a Mehfil typically involves a small, select audience that comes together to enjoy and savor performances of poetry and music, particularly ghazals, which are poetic expressions of love, longing, and loss.

At Ajivasan Music & Dance Academy, our vision is to host Mehfils that foster a deep appreciation for the art of music and poetry, while preserving and celebrating their cultural significance.
